Yoandi Interian, P.E., CFEI, a Civil/Structural engineer with LGI Forensic Engineering, P.C., reviewed documents, and testimony on a construction case involving an underpinning issue for a building adjacent to the construction project in question. A subcontractor was brought into the case, as it was being alleged they improperly performed their work on the project. Based on Yoandi’s investigation into the documents and testimony, he was able to opine in an affidavit that the subcontractor was not responsible for the issues alleged and they performed their work responsibly and according to industry standards. The attorney client praised Yoandi’s work and was going to file the affidavit and ask that his client be dismissed from the case.
