LGI Forensic Engineering, P.C. is pleased to announce that we have added two new experts to our professional staff in the fields of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing and Civil Structural engineering.
Brian Peck, BSE, CFEI, was hired as a Principal Electrical-Mechanical Consultant, and he comes to LGI with many years of prior experience working for a utility company, insurance company laboratory and a forensic engineering firm. Brian’s duties with LGI will include investigating and reporting on failures of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems to determine cause, nature, effect, and required remedial actions.
Tarik Makkaoui, P.E., is a civil/structural engineer for LGI and he has four years of past experience in forensic engineering. Tarik is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states and has experience with various property related issues. His main specialty is in commercial and residential construction defect cases, but he also has expertise in structural systems, appliance failures and water damage of all kinds.
